School hours mostly don’t correspond to your working hours or study hours. We have a solution. After school and during school holidays we make sure your child is taken care of. You child can have fun by playing with other children in a safe place, or it can have some quite time with a book or a game. Often the children go outside to play and do sports. Apart from after-school care, there are also several childcare centres which provide care before school starts.
After school hours, on free afternoons and during school holidays (those are optional) we make sure your child is safely and pleasantly cared for. Children can play with friends or relax and play a game or read a book. Your child is picked up from school by a staff member and taken to the After-School Care location together with the other children. Mostly they go on foot, but if it is too far to walk we use a passenger bus, car or a special bike to transport children in a safe way.
At several childcare centres there is also the possibility to bring your child in the morning before school starts. We will make sure your child has a stress-free morning and will be in its classroom on time. Find out if the childcare centre of your choice offers Pre-School Care.
Activities, play and exercise
We create a relaxed and cosy environment with lots of challenging materials to play with. We encourage children to explore, move and play together in many different ways. We highly value outdoor activities and often go outside to do sports and play games.
Healthy snacks and drinks
Healthy food and drinks take an important place in our Childcare Centres. We make sure our snacks contain as little added sugar, preservatives and additives as possible. Our food is also low fat and contains as little salt as possible. We always eat fruit and make sure your child drinks sufficiently.
Contact with parents/carers
Every child gets individual attention and we take care we monitor their well-being in the group. Every time you pick up your child we tell you about what happened that day. If you have any questions about your child’s behaviour or your parenting, we will try to give advice. The Childcare centres also organise general information evenings for parents per group or per location.
